It’s Borneo!!! I’ve been in the jungle and slept in a tribe of former headhunters, went to a river safari to observe proboscis monkeys, visited orang-utan sanctuaries where they rescue orang-utan, visited a tiny island where I saw big turtles laying eggs and the baby turtles making their first trip to the sea! It was a unique trip, some day I wish to repeat it!

Well I haven’t really got to travel as much as the others here, but I went to the Greek island of Zakynthos last year, which was really amazing. Half of the island is protected as the home of the Loggerhead turtle, so you can take boat trips out to see where the turtle live during certain times of the year. We got to swim through the caves around where they live, and learned all about how old and amazing they are. I came home with a lot of turtle teddies from that trip!

Easy question! I camped on the rim of a very active volcano in the Congo once, called Nyiragongo. It took two days to get there from Rwanda and it was incredibly hot and smelly (sulphur from volcanoes smells like rotten eggs!). Amazing.

hmmm, that’s tough! I d have to say New Zealand. It’s just such a beautiful country with really weird plants and animals. They have giant tree ferns there that look like they are right out of Jurassic park!
