Hi there. Great question, and pretty deep too! Science is the way we question the world around us, basically! When I was a kid I used to love reading enyclopeadias. Books full of knowledge about history and science. But soon you begin to realise that all our knowledge can’t be in a book. There has to e something else out there! We’re not perfect as humans, and knowledge isn’t either. So as soon as you ask a question and think of a way of learning about that, you could call yourself a scientist! It doesn’t have to be in a lab wearing a white coat either! A lot of the scientists I know wear hiking boots, or suits or dresses, or a wet suit! Look at me, I hike around volcanoes looking for gorillas and buffalos, and I’m scientist because I’m looking for answers to the world by testing things. Science is the world, and the universe is our lab!
