      Great question Daniel! Humanoid robots are cool. The top three have to be the Honda ASIMO astronaut like robot. It’s the most famous humanoid robot since it was the first to walk and climb stairs. The Japanese government invented an even faster and slimer robot called Kawada HRP-4. It’s the athletic high performance version of Honda ASIMO! Lastly, the French invented Aldebaran Nao… it’s not only very intelligent (for a robot) but also very cute! This cute robot can behave on its own and can always be programmed to do more. Lets not forget my personal favourite humanoid, Bender! Futurama invented the ultimate robot 😉

      Every year at the Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin, they always have robot displays, with some of the world’s top humanoid robots there plus their design engineers! When I went I got to meet the Honda ASIMO robot that Angela has described – he is so amazing! And that was over 10 years ago, so I wonder how more amazing they have become! But it’s well worth a visit next January at the RDS!
