Question: did dinosaurs evolve in to chickens or did they all just die out

Great question.
So chickens are birds right? And birds evolved from dinosaurs, which are reptiles. It is thought that the first bird, archaeopteryx, evolved from something that looked like the veloceraptor (I’m sure you know what that dangerous piece of work looks like!). It is also thought that the T-rex had feathers! Imagine that, T-rex may have actually looked like giant chickens! I wonder what they tasted like…..
All the dinosaurs died out yes, but some birds probably existed before they died out and were able to survive whatever catastrophe wiped them out. And remember, evolution takes a very very very very long time!
Can you name any dinosaurs still around today!? There are a couple!
