      Hi Sabrina,
that is very unlikely I’m afraid. Our body is made up of many different elements and we need them all to survive. That’s why fruits and vegetables are very important, though not all of us like eating them. ( I HATE parsnips….)
Though they may taste good there aren’t many nutrients in noodles and crackers!

Although noodles and cracker IS a tasty combination (although I must recommend pitta breads stuffed with noodles as being amazing), like Shane said its not providing your body with all its needs – we need a nice balance of different nutrients to be healthy, functioning people!

It is possible to live on noodles and crackers but you would have to ask yourself – would it be an enjoyable life? Your hair and nails would probably be really short and brittle, because you are lacking protein, whilst your skin would likely become very spotty and dry, because your skin isnt getting enough essential fats and water. You would have no energy to do anything either, so any sports or exercise would likely be a no no too! Does that sound good? Not really! So unfortunately we need plenty of other foods too

Hi Sabrina, some people (like poor university students who try to eat cheaply ;)..) have tried it for several months and had to eventually start eating other, more nutritious, stuff, like veggies, meat and fruits. Noodles and crackers lack several vital vitamins and minerals that your body needs to stay healthy and survive. If the lack of nutrients and minerals hasn’t caused the body to shut down, then the lack of protein (which you get from meat or nuts), might cause your body to develop scurvy (it causes general weakness, anemia, gum disease, and skin hemorrhages) and other vitamin deficiencies. All that to say, make sure you eat the right quantities of carbs (noodles are carbs), proteins, fruits and veggies 🙂 Great question!
